This was our first River Run. We didn't know what to expect, and I can say that I was anxious to get there and experience the legendary event.
We road to Bullhead and dropped off our belongings - some clothing and such for the next few days. We headed on out, Laughlin bound.
We met up with a friend who decided to stay in the lap of luxury at one of the over-priced hotels for the weekend.
Over the next couple of days, we participated in the poker run (I'm quite the sucker for that sort of thing), checked out the bike show, babe show, free concerts, headed out to Oatman and Kingman, and experienced a little of the old mother road, route 66. We spent a couple of nights in a bar, taking in enough spirits to last a few days and enjoying some really awesome local bands.
The trip was awesome and I long for the next one.

There were thousands of bikes on display and cruising the strip. To my wife's dismay, I took a few hundred pictures. I can't post them all here, but I will add some of the better ones to the wallpaper page.
